- Reservoir Act “Qualified Civil Engineer” to oversee the design and construction and certify the completed works
- Support to environmental and planning consultants to provide a coordinated service.
Project description
Octagon Lake is set within Stowe Landscape Gardens, a Grade 1 listed landscape owned by the National Trust.
Stillwater Associates worked with conservation architects on the feasibility stages, design stages and construction support of works to increase the spillway capacity of 200 year old dam. The new culverted spillway was successfully constructed amongst the existing historic masonry structures and mature planting along the crest of the embankment.
